Want to be a Counselor In Training for The Village Camp this summer? Apply today! All CITs must be in middle or high school and able to participate for the full week (August 6 - 10) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The basic expectations of each CIT are as follows:
Present themselves as role models for the campers in dress, attitude, and behavior.
Participate fully in all the programs and activities and be a positive influence on the campers.
Work cooperatively with the adults to provide the best possible environment for everyone present.
Arrive on time and be on site and active from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day (Mon 8/6 – Fri 8/10).
Each CIT can expect:
To work closely with a group of 8 – 12 kids for the whole week.
To help the teachers and counselors each day.
To receive leadership training each day during rest time.
To have some fun!
Note: This is a high energy, service oriented position. It is essential that all who apply love working with children. CITs will not be a campers – they will be a counselor with responsibilities and expectations. The CIT's role at the camp will be very important, as many of our adult counselors will only be able to serve for one day. The CITs will be the ones who are present all week and get to know the kids the best.
To request an application, please contact Pastor Sue Eldon at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications are due by June 3, 2018.
