Ways to Worship

All services on Sundays @ 11:00 am

As the delta variant of COVID-19 continues to surge across our state, it is important to pause and consider the best choices for us as a congregation. The North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church (NCCUMC) continues to discourage meeting in-person indoors, and to encourage meeting virtually or outdoors, as there remain many among us who are unvaccinated. In addition, the NCCUMC continues to encourage those at greater risk who are unvaccinated or having underlying medical issues to worship virtually or outdoors.

Believing that it is important to balance both our physical health and our spiritual/emotional health, Saxapahaw United Methodist Church will continue to gather in person for worship. Small group gatherings and meetings can be held in person or virtually. In addition, as the numbers of cases of COVID-19 surge, we will require masks for all indoor gatherings and use our 6 inch voices when we sing.

Sanctuary Worship:  All are invited to participate in person.

  • Masks: We require masks for all indoor gatherings and use our 6 inch voices when we sing.

  • Nursery: Available between 10:45 and noon.

  • Children's Bulletins: Available at the main entrance.

  • Flowers: Contact Barbara Christy bchristy@schellbray.com if you can bring flowers one Sunday.

FaceBook and Zoom: We encourage you to continue to connect for worship online. Feel free to use the chat feature to greet one another and share the peace of Christ during the service.

Thank you for your continued support of the mission and ministries of Saxapahaw UMC. Tithes and offerings may be given by mail, in the offering boxes in the sanctuary, or via secure form on our website.
