The Village Camp

Aug. 5 – 9  &  Aug. 12 – 16

at Saxapahaw United Methodist Church

and Sprout Educational Farm

This summer Saxapahaw United Methodist Church is partnering with Sprout Educational Farm and Common Life Church and Farm to provide your children with the opportunity for a fun-filled, affordable week of camp.

Enroll your child in one of two week-long summer camps (or both) the weeks of August 5 – 9 and August 12 – 16. All children, ages 3 (must be potty trained) through grade 5 are welcome to register for camp.

Our middle and high school students are strongly encouraged to apply to be a Youth Counselor / Young Farmer.  For more information on this program click on the tab below.

Recognizing your need for high quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment, the camp will run from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. each day, with planned programming between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Our daily schedule will include opportunities for learning and play:

* Morning Discovery will include Bible Story Time, Arts & Crafts, Movement & Dance, and Outdoor Play.

** The younger children will have a good nap at Saxapahaw before going to Sprout. The older children will go immediately after lunch (and may even have a picnic lunch at Sprout one or two days).

In an effort to assure that camp is affordable for every child, full tuition for one week will be $85 per child. There is a $15 discount per child for the second sibling ($70) and third sibling ($55).

There are also scholarships available. If your household income is less than $75,000 please talk to Pastor Sue. We don't want the cost of the camp to keep your child from participating.

I encourage you to enroll your child today as enrollment will be capped at 42 children each week. Click here for the application. We will continue to communicate with you via email after we receive your application.

If you have questions please feel free to contact Pastor Sue, the Camp Director, at or 919-454-5669.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful kids with us!
